Growing data volumes demanded modern reporting solutions for JTI Baltic, a major tobacco industry player. This case study showcases their collaboration with Baltic Amadeus to integrate Microsoft Power BI, delivering real-time insights and cost-effective business intelligence for strategic decision-making.
Established in 1999, JTI has evolved into a significant global tobacco enterprise operating in over 130 countries. Since its start, it has grown into a leading global tobacco manufacturer known for its diverse range of tobacco brands.
Recognising the need for streamlined and powerful data integration, JTI Baltic wanted to leverage Microsoft Power BI. This reporting solution enables the simultaneous utilisation of all data sources to configure real-time dashboards, facilitating report generation and business decision-making.
As a next step, JTI Baltic looked for an IT partner with proven expertise to implement Power BI integration. JTI Baltic teamed up with Baltic Amadeus, which showcased proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
During the project, we provided in-depth documentation to ensure clarity and understanding of the integrated solution. This involved a comprehensive documentation process, capturing key metrics and data points essential for the client's data-driven decision-making.
Furthermore, our team added dynamic visualisations and indicators using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to create visually compelling reports for the client.
We also conducted comprehensive training sessions, equipping the JTI Baltic team with the skills to maximise the potential of the Power BI solution.
The implemented Power BI integration offered different benefits for the clients. Firstly, the Power BI solution easily transforms raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports. This enables JTI Baltic to facilitate informed decision-making, allowing organisations to identify trends, analyse patterns, and derive actionable intelligence from their data.
