This case study explores our collaboration with FamWeek in developing a digital platform that enhances child safety and simplifies family-institution communication.
FamWeek aimed to develop an innovative web solution and mobile application to streamline communication between parents and educational institutions. The goal was to create a secure and user-friendly environment where information could be exchanged quickly and reliably, supporting both daily coordination and child safety.

To address the client's objectives, the Baltic Amadeus team proposed a flexible solution consisting of both web and mobile applications. The platform was designed to facilitate seamless communication and information sharing between parents and institutions while supporting safety-focused functionality tailored to preschool environments.


During the project, the Baltic Amadeus team developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using Drupal and customised it to run smoothly on both Android and iOS, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.
A mobile messaging and information transfer system was introduced, enabling faster, more efficient communication via push notifications. This ensured that important updates could be delivered to parents in real time.
In addition, the team implemented a user-friendly calendar and availability management system, allowing parents and institutions to coordinate schedules effectively. Integration capabilities were also developed to enhance overall system functionality and ensure adaptability to evolving user needs.
The new FamWeek web solution and mobile application have simplified daily routines for families and preschool staff. The platform enables organisations to manage user information efficiently, process service-related transactions, exchange messages, share videos, and coordinate calendar events within a single environment, thereby improving the overall user experience.
Parents can now receive instant mobile notifications, manage their children's schedules, synchronise activity calendars, communicate with teachers and other parents, and organise events collaboratively. This strengthens parental involvement and ensures families remain informed about their children's activities.
Institution staff use the system to log every change in a child's location from arrival to departure. This functionality enhances safety protocols and provides parents with greater transparency regarding their children's whereabouts, offering reassurance and peace of mind.
